Over fifteen years ago, Lakeside started a members' choir to sing at selected Shabbat and special services throughout the year. From a small group of seven, the group has expanded to about twenty four and, through the patient teaching and leadership of our Cantor and choir director, the level of expertise has expanded dramatically. The choir now sings at our High Holiday services, enhances monthly Shabbat services, and sings with other choirs at various locations and occasions. It has become, to its members, a chavurah, a small family, within the congregation. New members with an interest in music and singing are always encouraged to apply. No previous experience necessary.
