Membership FAQ's

What does membership at Lakeside cost?

Our dues and fees are comparable with other North Shore Reform congregations; however, we offer a significant incentive program to individuals in their initial years of membership (ask about our Mayah Chaverim program -- 100 friends). Additionally, no one will be denied membership because of legitimate financial circumstances. If you feel you cannot afford our dues, please contact our Associate Executive Director, Margaux Friend, for confidential assistance. Subsequent discussions and details will be conducted with Lakeside's treasurer.

What are the options for paying membership?

You can choose your payment schedule on a monthly basis, quarterly basis, or in full. You can pay by check, automatic debit from your checking or savings account, or with a credit card. As Lakeside does pay a fee for each credit card transaction, we do charge a 3% service fee to help cover these costs.

Do I receive High Holy Day tickets with my membership?

Yes! With synagogue membership, High Holy Day tickets are included for the adults in your household and any children you may have under 31 years old. Additional tickets for extended family can be purchased for Koloteinu services at $180 per ticket or our Adult Choir services at $225 per ticket. Tickets are required for ALL services.
