We take care and pride to never "double-up" B'nai Mitzvah students into a single service, assuring that every child receives undivided attention on his or her special day. Your child’s B’nai Mitzvah is a landmark lifecycle event. Our primary goal is to provide a meaningful and joyous experience within the tenets and traditions of Reform Judaism - and with opportunities to customize this special milestone through music, prayer, readings and other touches that fit your family's preferences. Rabbi Serotta, our Director of Lifelong Learning Vanessa M. Ehrlich, and our B’nai Mitzvah tutors work with every student to assure that each shines to their unique ability. We are here to support your child as he/she begins the journey into Jewish adulthood, and to help guide and support you and your family through the process of planning this most joyous event.
Becoming a B'nai Mitzvah is a rich and meaningful experience that leads to:
- An enhanced Jewish identity;
- A better understanding of the responsibility that accompanies Jewish maturity; and
- An increased sense of belonging to the Jewish community.
Ultimately, we hope you and your family will look back at this day as one that will continue to be spiritually nourishing and create memories to last a lifetime.
